Sam Nancarrow
Sam joined the team in September 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience across both road and off-road cycling. His knowledge of Trek bikes runs deep—he’s the first to dig into the latest technical documents and uncover every detail of new models. Beyond the workshop, Sam races competitively in cross-country mountain biking and road racing at events throughout the UK. Whether it’s advice on bike setup, training strategies, or race-day nutrition, Sam is always ready to share proven tips to help riders go faster and perform at their best.
Krisztian Borbely
Krisztian is our newest mechanic at Amped Cycles, bringing over three decades of experience in the bike trade with him. His background includes time at a major UK bke shop as well as running his own successful store in London. In the workshop, Krisztian is always a hit and happy to talk you through the work he’s doing, often with his dog Issey by his side. Known for his calm, steady approach (and a love of having music on in the background), he brings both expertise and character to the team.

Mabel
Mabel is the queen of the shop, keeping a watchful eye over everything at Amped Cycles. Whether she’s patrolling around the bikes or greeting customers with her signature charm, Mabel makes sure everyone feels welcome. She’s as much a part of the team as anyone and takes her role as shop dog very seriously.
Issey
Issey is our newest shop dog and is quickly becoming a customer favourite. She’s often found in the workshop keeping Krisz company or casting her eye over the shop floor. If she flops down in front of you while you’re browsing, that’s your cue to give her a well-deserved belly rub.
