Experience the thrill of the trail like never before with the Rail 9.7 Gen 2 from TREK, a carbon electric mountain bike designed to get you to the action quicker. It's crafted with the same hardcore trail features as our non-electric range, but boasts the added benefit of a cutting-edge Bosch drive system, making those tough inclines a breeze and leaving more time for downhills.

Who's it for?

If you crave a long-travel e-MTB that can tackle tricky trails and big drops just as smoothly as analogue trail bikes, the Rail 9.7 is for you. You appreciate the lightness and responsiveness of an OCLV Mountain Carbon frame, and the power of a leading e-bike system.

Features and Benefits

The bike features an OCLV Mountain Carbon frame that fully integrates a 625 Wh battery, a 160 mm RockShox Yari RC fork, and 150 mm of rear travel with a RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock. The Bosch Performance Line CX 250 W motor helps speeds up to 25 km/h, with a Kiox controller for easy adjustments on the go. A 1x12 SRAM NX Eagle drive train, Bontrager Line dropper post, robust 4-piston brakes, and Bontrager Line Comp 30 29er tubeless-ready wheels enhance performance in all conditions.

Summary

The Rail 9.7 strikes the perfect balance between high-performance carbon construction and excellent value. Equipped with top-quality, trail-centric components and a potent Bosch drive system, it confidently descends the roughest terrains and propels you back up for the next adrenaline-filled run.
