Introducing Peaty's LinkLube Dry, a wax-based, biodegradable chain lube designed to withstand desert-dry and mildly moist conditions alike. This lube is engineered to give you a durable, clean-running, and quiet chain, optimizing your biking experience.

What sets this lube apart is its unique formulation using a blend of waxes suspended in a water-based emulsion. Unlike standard oils, wax is the superior lubricant for dry conditions as once applied, it forms a hard and smooth coating on your chain links and rollers. This perfect layer is dry to the touch, thus resisting the accumulation of dust and dirt.

If you're wondering why water comes into the mix? Well, water helps carry the lube deep into each chain link’s nooks and crannies, which is where you need the lubrication the most. Once the water evaporates, the wax is left behind.

A first-time application requires a well-degreased and dry drivetrain for optimal performance. For the best results, use Peaty's foaming drivetrain degreaser to ensure no residue of old chain oil persists. Then rinse your chain thoroughly with water after degreasing and leave it to dry before applying the LinkLube. Apply the lube to the inside of the chain, and you'll notice the light blue colour allows you to see exactly where it is applied.

Give your chain a spin for a few seconds to help the lube infiltrate the pins and rollers. Over-application isn't an issue; simply change gears a few times to spread the more substantial amount of lube onto the cassette. Wait for the lube to go from light blue to clear – this indicates that the water has evaporated, leaving behind the wax to do its job. If you want optimal performance, apply the lube the night before your ride.

Note: Do not use LinkLube on your brakes or brake pads.

When it comes to tackling the weather conditions typically unkind to your bike's chain, rely on Peaty's LinkLube Dry. It provides long-lasting performance with a clean, quiet chain ride.
