The shoes come with a pre-installed Crankbrothers match shim and cleat, which can be adjusted and tightened for immediate use. They are compatible with any brand of SPD cleat, simply remove the grey match shim and set up directly in the match box.The shoes have a MC1 mid-friction compound for easy exit from the pedals. The directional angled and spaced toe/heel lugs provide traction while hiking, and the ramped toe allows for walkability. The stiff shank ensures power transfer while pedalling, and the cushioned EVA midsole absorbs shocks.These shoes are sized based on UK normal shoe sizing, using a USA last. The range runs true to size, so there is no need to size up. They are available in sizes 4 - 13, with half sizes available from 5.5 - 11.5.
